We partnered with American Bridal to create a few really cute ideas using one of their many, many, many cute and inexpensive wedding favors, the vintage milk jar. Crafty brides, you’ll love this! You can take a modern approach by painting them, like we did here, and use them as decor, or you get a little more clever and create a cute package of essential oils for your bridesmaids. Aren’t they a super cute gift idea for showers or a day-of bridesmaid gift?
Turning the bottles into wedding decor is super easy. Grab a few paint colors that go with your theme and have at them. You can add festive tissue paper flowers like we did here, or use this DIY storybook paper roses tutorial and fill the bottles up with those. Cute, right?
When you buy the vintage milk jars off the American Bridal site, they come complete with cute cork stoppers. All we did was drill a hole in the center to hold a dropper in place, add a simple label and voila!
In the end, wedding favors are always fun to personalize. Your guests appreciate it, and really, it’s a fun time for you to get together with friends & family and make a crafting night out of it. A few other of our favorite wedding favors from American Bridal that you can totally get creative with:
Lip balm favors - great for a bridal shower, and all you need to do is design a personalized label
Ceramic jar favors – we see lots of couples giving homemade jam or honey as favors, so how cute would they be in these?
Apothecary jar favors - lavender infused salt? Totally!
There really are endless wedding favors to choose from, so pop over to American Bridal to check ‘em out!
